Introducing your workforce to Nudge Security can prepare your employees to receive nudges and educate them about how Nudge Security supports your organization's goals. Below, we've provided a sample onboarding letter that you can tailor to suit your organization's needs.
Why introduce Nudge Security to your workforce?
Build trust with transparency
“It's important for me that the security team is not ‘the scary people who have all the information and who knows what they're even doing?’ Tools like Nudge Security that are designed to actually be transparent about what is being collected are really helpful. To me, that is a big piece of building and maintaining trust internally with the security team.”

Delight users with self-serve access
"The app directory simplifies our access management process in a way that's just amazing. It provides an easy overview for our employees, shows them what applications are approved, and makes it easy for them to request access.”
—Marcus Södervall, Head of Security, Stravito (Read the customer story →)
Promote secure, compliant SaaS use
“After introducing Nudge Security’s app directory and giving more context on what apps are approved and what are not, users started already adjusting their access and deleting unnecessary accounts.”

Sample Workforce Onboarding Letter
Welcome to Nudge Security
[COMPANY NAME / Our organization] is now using Nudge Security to help keep our company data and identities secure across our growing portfolio of cloud and SaaS applications.
Nudge Security discovers all the cloud and SaaS applications we use across our organization. And, it promptly alerts us if any application or account poses a risk or threat to our organization, helping us maintain a strong security and compliance posture as we grow.
What this means for you
Nudge Security is designed for everyone in our organization. [Optional] You can [request access to] log in to see a personalized inventory of SaaS accounts you've created at [COMPANY NAME / our organization]—even ones you may have forgotten about—so you can manage your accounts and data responsibly.
[OPTIONAL] You can also use the app directory in Nudge Security to find apps that are already approved and preferred by our organization and to request access.
What to expect
From time to time, you may receive "nudges" by email [ALT: SLACK] that provide help guidance, tasks, and requests for information about your SaaS footprint. For example, we may ask you to enable 2FA, or tell us about an app that's new or unknown to the organization, or prompt you when there's a better alternative available. Please review these nudges and promptly take any necessary steps.
It's important to note that Nudge Security is not an employee monitoring tool. It doesn't watch your computer or internet activities. Instead, it works by associating with your corporate email address with SaaS services you’ve signed up for and integrated with other services.
Our goal in using Nudge Security is to remove barriers when adopting new SaaS and cloud technologies, allowing us to move faster toward our company mission while also remaining secure and compliant. We hope you'll find it to be a valuable and helpful tool.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact [EMAIL / CONTACT info].
Thanks you!
