Nudge Security is a tool your organization uses to help protect its digital assets and accounts by providing real-time security guidance, protections, and visibility at the point you interact with web applications.

Nudge’s goal is to keep you safe (and keep company data safe) without disrupting your workflow.

What is a nudge?

A nudge is a gentle prompt or recommendation or means of data collection that your IT/Security team sends you through Nudge Security when it detects a potential security risk or specific activity. Examples include:

  • Alerting you if an app you’re signing up for is not permitted by your organization

  • Notifying you that you are reusing a password or using a weak password

  • Suggesting enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA) on an account

  • Warning you about browser extensions or apps that may have dangerous permissions

  • Highlighting that your login session may have expired or become compromised

  • Asking you why you've signed up for a brand new app that no one else within your organization has previously signed up for

These nudges are meant to be actionable, clear, and minimally disruptive.

Your privacy with Nudge Security

Nudge Security focuses on visibility and education — not surveillance.

  • We only look at metadata about apps you use, not the content of your files or messages

  • We never store your passwords

  • Nudge is designed to help employees make safer choices, not to track productivity or enforce penalties
